Congratulations to Ravinder Randhawa and her husband Mike on the birth of their daughter Simran on 13th December 2007.


November 2007

Chambers would like to congratulate Mr Sam Healy and Mrs Andrea Morrison upon their appointment to be Junior Counsel to the Crown.

The appointment begins on 12th November 2007 and is for a period of 5 years.


October 2007

We are pleased to welcome Mr Robert Newcombe as a Door Tenant.

Mr Newcombe, who specialises in Criminal Law is a member of chambers at 7 Bell Yard, London.

September 2007

We are delighted to announce that Miss Elizabeth Addicott and Miss Angharad Davies have joined Chambers as full tenants following the successful completion of their pupillage.



August 2007


Congratulations go to James Willoughby and his wife Cara on the birth of their son Thomas on 23rd August. Thomas weighed in at 7lb 7oz.

Congratulations go to Henry Trory and his wife Katka on the birth of their son Dominik on 6th August. Dominik weighed in at 8lb 7oz.

Congratulations go to Martin Todd and his wife Nicola on the birth of their daughter Amelia Grace on 5th August. Amelia weighed in at 8lb 4oz.


July 2007

Congratulations go to Diane Campbell and her husband Steve on the birth of their daughter Katarina on 1st July. Katarina weighed in at 7lb 4.5 oz.

We are delighted to announce that Michael Bosomworth joined Chambers on 2nd July 2007. Formerly of 39 Park Square, Leeds. Mr Bosomworth continues to practice in serious criminal law.


June 2007

Congratulations go to Andrea Morrison and her husband Paul on the birth of their daughter Lily Florence on 8th June. Lily weighed in at 9lbs.


May 2007

On the 5th May our annual football trip took place in Belfast where we were soundly thrashed 5 - 0 by the Northern Ireland Bar. Despite this we had a great time and Crispin Oliver even managed to fit in the Belfast Marathon!


April 2007

The York Chambers Annual Golf Challenge once again took place at the Malton & Norton Golf Club.
We were once again blessed with glorious weather and the Course in excellent condition. Our new champion, Pierre Bouvet carded a fine 38 points, closely followed by Peter Scholey with 35 and our defending Champion Alan Mitcheson finishing 3rd of the 22 players with 30 points


February 2007

We are delighted to announce that Miss Karen Lennon joined Chambers on 5th February 2007. Formerly of the Northern Ireland Bar, Karen continues to practice in Family, Civil & Employment Law.

Congratulations go to Stephen Thornton and his wife Andrea on the birth of their son Edward on 12th February. Edward weighed in at 8lb.
